How it all started...
Mercy Baptist Church began with a heart to reach our community and see lives changed through Jesus Christ. From the beginning, Mercy has been a place for people from all walks of life, with all different backgrounds and stories, to come just as they are and experience the love and grace of God.
What started as a small group of people with a pastor who faithfully poured his heart into the ministry has continued to grow through God’s guidance and provision. As the church family grew, so did the vision. Mercy stepped forward in faith, trusting God to lead the way into a new season and a new home.
Shortly after, Mercy Baptist Church Child Development Center was born. What began with 20 children and a small staff has now grown to serve more than 70 children, with room to continue expanding and reaching families in our community.
Over the years, God has allowed Mercy to grow and improve many areas of ministry, including the church, the Student Ministries Building, and the Fellowship Hall. Through every season, one thing has remained the same: Mercy exists to help people know Jesus, grow in their faith, and find a place where they are welcomed and loved.
Today, under the leadership of a new pastor, Mercy continues to build on the strong foundation that was laid years ago. We are still growing, still believing, and still watching God move in powerful ways.
Mercy Baptist Church is a place where everyone is invited, welcomed, and loved. Our heart is to see people grow closer to the Lord and to see lives changed through the saving power of Jesus Christ.

Expanding the vision...
Our heart has always been to pour into our kids, students, families, and community. As Mercy continues to grow, so does our desire to create opportunities for children and students to experience the Lord in meaningful ways.
Through our Student Ministries, which include our Youth and KidsLife programs, God is opening doors for our kids and students to be part of camps, trips, community outreach, and experiences that help them grow in their faith beyond the walls of the church.
We believe the vision of Mercy is still expanding. As God continues to move throughout our church, we are trusting Him to guide us, stretch us, and use us to make a greater impact in our community.
Our desire is simple. We want everyone to experience the love of Jesus and the heart of Mercy.
